SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04 (KNO) : It is official that the Jammu and Kashmir has quizzed PDP legislator over the weapon loot incident and his statement stands recorded, a top police official told (KNO). “Yes, we have recorded his statement and if need arises, we may call him again,” he said. In an exclusive chat with the he said that I was in Jammu when the incident took place, it’s a known fact and I had informed the concerned police station and because of that I was provided with a vehicle and a PSO in Jammu region.

I went to Jammu for the treatment of my back ache.” “Is this a policing? How can a Munshi (policeman), of Rajbagh police station, abuse a legislator in front of dozens of other policemen? And then went on levelling serious allegations, accusations against his family as well. Is this how Police probes things here by humiliating even legislators and start levelling baseless allegations?” On Friday last, SPO Adil decamped with the service riffles of seven PSOs and the licensed pistol of the PDP lawmaker, sending entire security grid into a tizzy.

All seven PSOs of Mir have already been detained and police has also recorded the statement of the PDP leader as well. After three days of the incident, SPO Adil showed up in a photograph with the militants of Hizbul Mujahideen including the commander of the outfit, Zeenat-ul-Islam(KNO)
